Two US congressmen want to force the full publication of the Epstein files. MPs Thomas Massie and Ro Khanna are working together on a bill that would pressure Justice Minister Pam Bondi to release the files, Massie told CBS News.

Massie said the House could, if approved, impose a daily fine on Bondi until the documents are released.
The Republican Massie and the Democrat Khanna make serious allegations against the ministry. They accuse the authority of ignoring rules and violating the law. Despite their different party affiliations, the two politicians have already launched joint legislative initiatives on several occasions. They are known in political circles as vehement critics of the Justice Department’s work in connection with the Epstein affair.
Sharp criticism of Pam Bondi
The Trump administration released thousands of photos, videos and texts from the Epstein investigation on Friday. However, the Justice Department released only a portion of the documents despite a deadline set by Congress. Numerous files had also been made illegible in advance, such as a completely blacked out, 119-page document from the New York justice system.
Back in November, MP Massie called for consequences for those involved and referred to international efforts, similar to those in Great Britain, to deal with abuse. Bondi has not yet commented publicly, while her deputy emphasized that images were deleted at the request of those affected.

Attacks also come from the White House: Susie Wiles, President Trump’s chief of staff, was critical of Bondi’s handling of the files. However, President Trump has not yet moved away from his ministerial ranks.
Congress had passed a transparency law requiring the government to release almost all files. The financial advisor Epstein, who was networked in the highest circles, was found dead in his prison cell in 2019; according to official information, he committed suicide. He was accused of abusing numerous girls and women and passing them on to celebrities.
