Last week, a Russian military transport plane crashed northeast of Moscow in the Ivanovo region.
The machine had recently been serviced. Eyewitnesses reported to the Kommersant newspaper that the plane broke into two parts in the air and then crashed into the Uvod reservoir.
The Russian Defense Ministry officially confirmed the loss of the Antonov An-22 aircraft and the deaths of all seven crew members.
Videos have now emerged that are said to show the crash. These recordings were distributed on several Russian Telegram channels and are intended to show the incident from different perspectives:

The crash represents the second loss of this type of aircraft in just a few years. There are only a few aircraft of this model left in the world. Loud AeroTelegraph After the accident there are only three operational machines left, all of which are owned by the Russian army. To date, these aircraft are considered the largest turboprop transport aircraft in the world and can transport a payload of up to 80 tons.
