Workers at Esso-ExxonMobil and TotalEnergies refineries and fuel depots in France’s northern Normandy region on Wednesday voted to continue a strike over wage disputes despite the government’s threat to use force to order staff back to work as fuel shortages cause havoc for millions of motorists.
