How the James Webb telescope shows us the universe as we’ve never seen it before

On Christmas Day 2021, the James Webb telescope launched into space. Now, it has delivered some of the most breathtaking images of the universe to date. Using new infrared technology, the telescope can capture sharper photos in full colour, allowing scientists to see the origins of stars, planets, and the first galaxies.
