US President Donald Trump has officially announced his participation in the G7 summit in France in mid-June. Immediately following a festival with martial cage fights at the White House on Trump’s 80th birthday (June 14), he will travel to France, the Republican wrote on the Truth Social platform.

The group of leading democratic economic powers, which includes the USA, Germany, France, Great Britain, Italy, Canada and Japan as well as the European Union, will meet from June 15th to 17th in the French resort town of Évian on Lake Geneva. Canada hosted the summit last year. (sda/dpa/val)
