According to a spokesman for the region, 17 people were injured in a train accident in Denmark. According to the Ritzau news agency, four people are in critical condition.
Two trains collided early in the morning on the railway line between the towns of Hillerød and Kagerup in North Zealand. How this came about is still unclear.
The region responsible for medical care was on site with seven ambulances, three ambulances and several emergency ambulances. A military helicopter was also used, said the spokesman.
The adjacent street will be closed for a long time, according to a police statement. A large police presence was also on site.
Rescue workers: Trains collided at high speed
