US television presenter Tucker Carlson supported Donald Trump in the last presidential election. He supported the way Trump campaigned and what he promised to the people of the United States. Carlson was convinced in the past that the MAGA policy was the right strategy for the USA and was one of the publicly known MAGA hardliners.
Now the former journalist and presenter seems to be deviating from this line, as “The Guardian” writes. The reason for this is the war in Iran. Carlson describes Trump’s comments on this in his podcast as “disgusting” and addresses his listeners with apologetic words. You can find out exactly what he says in the video:

In the Podcast episode Carlson’s brother, Buckley Carlson, is a guest. He was also a supporter of Trump and his MAGA policies. Tucker Carlson says in the podcast that his brother even wrote speeches for the US President.
Carlson’s about-face comes a few days after Donald Trump’s attack on Truth Social on several right-wing media personalities – including Carlson himself. The US president wrote in a social media post that Tucker Carlson “is someone with a low IQ” and that the former journalist was “always easy to beat and completely overrated.”
In the past, Tucker Carlson worked at the politically right-wing television network Fox News. There he had his own late night show called “Tucker Carlson Tonight” from 2016 to 2023. The show was about current politics. (nib)
