According to authorities, at least three people were killed and five others injured in Ukrainian drone attacks near the capital Moscow.

People died when a drone crashed in the Pionersky settlement in the city of Istra, Moscow Region Governor Andrei Vorobyov said on Telegram. “Fires broke out in five private houses,” he said. During the night, 81 drones were shot down. The information could not be independently verified.
According to Vorobyov, a drone hit an apartment building in Solnechnogorsk. Two people were injured. Several residential buildings were damaged in the Moscow region.
The Russian Defense Ministry announced in the morning that a total of 342 Ukrainian drones had been shot down in various regions during the night. As in most cases, the ministry does not provide any information about hits.
Ukraine has been defending itself against the Russian war of aggression for more than four years. In order to defend itself against the Moscow attacks, it repeatedly attacks targets in the Russian hinterland, especially with drones. (sda/dpa)
