We track what is trending across European YouTube and Spotify charts, then apply a series of quality and freshness filters to create a clean radio-friendly snapshot. Our goal is to highlight what is genuinely emerging across Europe today, while reducing the impact of viral nostalgia waves, movie-driven revivals, remasters, sleep sounds, clickbait uploads and other chart noise. The result is a curated view of Europe's current music momentum rather than a raw popularity ranking.
We collect country charts from across Europe and combine them using a weighted scoring model based on population and regional influence. Tracks are then deduplicated, filtered and ranked to produce a weekly Europe-wide trend snapshot. Only tracks that pass our quality, metadata and freshness checks are eligible for the final chart.

These include: duplicate detection radio-friendly title validation remix/speed-up/sped-up filtering language and metadata checks trend freshness filtering Older catalogue tracks, viral nostalgia spikes and low-quality uploads may be excluded even if they temporarily appear in national charts.
The Europe Top 20 is a curated view of Europe's current music trends. Unlike traditional charts, it focuses on emerging and actively growing tracks rather than long-established catalogue hits. It is designed to help listeners discover what Europe is listening to now — not what was popular years ago.
