Rapper 50 Cent’s documentary series about convicted hip-hop star Sean “Diddy” Combs is streaming on Netflix from Tuesday. Here’s everything you want to know about it:
That’s what the documentary is about
At the beginning of October, the musician was sentenced to four years and two months in prison and a fine in connection with prostitution. A jury found him guilty in July. Prosecutors had accused Combs of abusing, threatening and coercing women over the years to fulfill his sexual desires.
The four-part documentary “Sean Combs: The Reckoning” is now intended to tell the story of the powerful man and his empire – as well as the shadowy world that hid directly underneath, according to a statement. Former companions, childhood friends, employees and artists would have their say.
The producer behind the series

The four episodes are produced by, of all people, rapper 50 Cent, whose real name is Curtis Jackson. He is considered Diddy’s archenemy in the hip-hop scene and has already criticized Combs several times. In 2006, he even accused Diddy of being involved in the unsolved murder of Notorious BIG.
The Grammy award winner (“In Da Club”) wants to shed light on the “disturbing” allegations against his colleague in the documentary series. This is a complex story that will span decades, far beyond the headlines, director Alexandria Stapleton and 50 Cent said last year.
