Last Saturday evening, Thomas Gottschalk began his TV retirement with a final appearance on the RTL show “Because they don’t know what’s happening”. His colleagues Barbara Schöneberger and Günther Jauch also said goodbye to production with him. The good news for fans came quickly: the format will continue without the three presenters. But who will follow the trio?
After the last edition, it was already announced that the prominent couple Jana Ina and Giovanni Zarrella will be appearing next Saturday. “I actually wanted to spend a nice evening with my wife, but then I just brought her with me,” said musician Giovanni Zarrella. It is now clear who else will be joining: As the “Bild” newspaper reported on Tuesday, in addition to the Zarrellas, the Ehrlich Brothers and Michelle Hunziker are there. The broadcaster RTL confirmed this.
Thomas Gottschalk, Barbara Schöneberger and Günther Jauch moderated “Because they don’t know what’s happening” for around seven years and 48 episodes. Thomas Gottschalk had announced his final withdrawal from show business due to his cancer. His two colleagues remain part of the industry.
