Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov has denied claims that there was an assassination attempt against Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Asked whether the reports, which first circulated on a Telegram channel, were accurate, Peskov replied, “No,” according to Russian state media.
The anonymous Telegram poster had claimed there had been a recent attack on Putin’s motorcade, which the Russian president survived.
